Thank you for providing testimony on HB 233, 234

Just a quick update.
Thanks to your testimony, HGEA efforts and those of our supporters, House Bills 233 and 234 passed Thursday's hearing and remain alive as vehicle bills to provide solutions to issues with Act 1.
The intent of Act 1 is to provide certain Hawaii Health System Corporation Maui Region employees with fair options due to the termination of their State service through privatization.
We will continue to keep you updated on the progress of this situation.
