As reported earlier, the Hawaii Labor Relations Board (HLRB) issued its formal decision on November 7, 2013 establishing Bargaining Unit 14 and the classes that comprise the unit. Positions in the following Unit 3 and Unit 4 job classifications have been transferred to Unit 14 as follows:

Harbor Enforcement Officer I, II, III, IV

CITY & COUNTY OF HONOLULU:
Water Safety Officer I, II, III, IV, V

Ocean Safety Officer I, II, III
Supervising Ocean Safety Officer

COUNTY OF KAUAI:
Water Safety Officer I, II, III
Water Safety Supervising Officer
Water Safety Officer V

COUNTY OF HAWAII:
Water Safety Officer I, II, III, IV
 
INFORMATIONAL MEETINGS
HGEA will hold statewide informational meetings to provide an update for members in the newly established Bargaining Unit 14 — State Law Enforcement Officers and State and County Ocean Safety and Water Safety Officers. We encourage all Unit 14 employees to attend one of the informational meetings.
