Call to action: Submit testimony to voice your concerns about HHSC task force bill for Friday's Senate hearing
March 13, 2013
On Friday, March 15, the Senate Committee on Health will hold a hearing on H.B. 1483, which establishes a task force to study the feasibility of allowing the Hawaii Health Systems Corporation regional systems and their facilities to transition to a public-private partnership status. The bill passed in the House and crossed over to the Senate last week.
We encourage you to attend the hearing in person or submit written testimony in opposition of this bill. (Click here to view H.B. 1483, H.D. 2.) Please voice your concerns that a solution is needed for Hawaii's public healthcare facilities, however it can be reached without the creation of a task force.
